Crocheted slowly in Lima by women whose craft has been carried across generations. A mother and daughter’s love letter to the artisans of Peru.
Vanessa Vinces began in 2020, between two women — a mother and a daughter — who shared a single conviction: that the hand still has something to say.
Raised in Lima, we grew up surrounded by artisans whose craft has been quietly carried through generations.
This brand is our way of honoring them. Of dressing the modern woman in pieces made slowly, with intention, and with the warmth of a place we will always call home.
No machines. No shortcuts. Only the slow dignity of a craft we are committed to preserving.
We source soft cotton, raffia, and natural fibres, chosen for their feel against the skin and for the way they hold their shape after years of wear.
Our partners are women we know by name — María, Rosa, Lucia. Each bag passes through a single pair of hands from beginning to end. A clutch can take three days. A larger piece, a week or more.
Pearls are threaded by the dozen. Leather labels are hand-stitched. The slight asymmetries you may notice are not flaws — they are the signature of a maker.
To make something by hand is to leave a part of yourself in it. That is what we want women to carry.
To inquire about a piece, or simply to say hello — we answer every note personally.
